Oh well, there you go...

What's your favorite?

I know many people don't like TT, but I do.. my choice is between Vivid and Twisted Tenderness, but I think it will be Twisted Tenderness.. as this song would be a VERY VERY good New Order song if you add Hooky's bass in it.

But something tells me Vivid will win this!

prodigal son. in fact I love the entire album. it was the sound that I expected at the time. I think mr. baker´s production made it even more wonderful. in my opinion is a great album, you HAVE to have it if you haven´t already purchased it.

Have to agree, Prodigal Son is by far the best track. So much going on. So many layers to the sound and some great guitar work. Especially the change when it goes to acoustic. LUV IT!

"TT" and "When She is Gone" are my 2 fave tracks on this album. I cannot stand the rest of the songs.

Does "Can't Find My Way Home" lift lyrics from another song? I was listening to some Joe Cocker song at the movies (?) I think and I heard the chorus and I totally freaked out. I highly doubt Joe Cocker would be covering electronic, so if anyone knows any info it would put my troubled mind at ease..

When She's Gone for me. I don't know why anyone would dislike this album. It's great.

"When She's Gone" is a great pick-me-up song I always come back to it, so that's my choice. I was afraid that I was going to be alone on this one, but I'm glad to see that I not the only who really appreciates this song.

The title track "TT". why? 'cos it obviously sounds more like New Order than most of the stuff on Republic...

Late At Night for me. I found it on CD single last year by accident. It's a clear disc with only part of it coloured. Bloody thing won't place in my car!

Electronic's second best effort after Getting Away With It would have to be Get The Message!

Make It Happen - A great way to start the cd. Good Jam! Haze - ok at best, sounds like Slow Jam. Vivid - a kick ass song!!! Their best single Breakdown - The worst song ever!!! not even a good b-side Can’t Find My Way Home - hate it, boring, nuff said Twisted Tenderness - Best Electronic song ever! sould have been a single. Like No Other - Rock & Roll Baby, should have been a single Late At Night - Good song, but the radio version was much better. Prodigal Son - OK song (differnt) I just dont get the hype??? When She’s Gone - Great song, would be a killer live song Flicker - Took me a while to like this song, but now I like it. Was supose to be the 3rd single, good idea they didn't.

Overall a great CD, but It took me a while to admitt it. After listening to it, it should be no suprise when Get Ready came out

Although TT & Vivid are just as good I say the best track is Make It Happen. Killer way to start the album off. I concur with Jim, overall a fine album.

Vivid really sticks out to me with the great harmonicas and the lyrics. But Flicker is just such a solid song, and Late at Night would be a great song to role during the ending credits of some action/romance movie, I've always thought. I also have TT Deluxe though, and my absolute fav. right now is Radiation.

I hate TT (the song, not the album).

Yeah I'm with you on TT sucking.

It is a total cheeseball attempt to replicate a "hit" from the 1st or 2nd electronic album.

Also, is it just me or does Barney sound like Elmer Fudd when he croons "Weeeeeee could always be Fweinds" in the middle of the song....ouch!

Rest of the album is tops...loved Make it Happen, Prodigal son, Vivid and Like No Other...also Turning Point is fantastic which is a "B" side recorded around the same time.....

my 2 cents anyway

Actually, he did seem to have developed this strange speech impediment throughout the album.

 funny you should mention that!! i tried to pass it off as part of the mixdown but you may well be right

Still TT is an astounding track and the lyrics are totally inspired, it deservedly holds its place way out in front in this poll imo :D

The whole (well, most of it) album is superb. I wasn't a great fan of the Raise the Pressure, so I wondered what TT was going to be like. Needn't have worried.

My vote goes to Flicker, not just 'cos it's a great "anthem" (sorry about using that word) but 'cos it just rounds off the album so perfectly.

The song builds you up, as the lyrics and music works towards the final "will united get beat". What does it for me is the instrumental crescendo after that - getting deeper, louder, going right through you until you can't take any more, and then being let down so gently at the end.

It still leaves me stunned at the end of it, sort of warm and tingly, thinking "my god, what happened there". Perfect.

Don't think it would work if it wasn't the last track. Which leads to the question, what is the best "last track" ever? (Dream Attack, if you ask me.) Or has that been done already?

Going to play TT again now...

I'll go with Face Up as my fave last track...

Yeah, i noticed that too... he's done it on other songs too, although none seem to spring to mind!

Breakdown, Can't Find..., Prodigal Son were my least favorite tracks on this album.

One song I really liked but wasn't on the poll was Warning Sign. Beautiful.

Make it Happen all the way for me:) Love all 7 minutes of it.

"Like No Other" ... That's the one I play most often from the actual album, but my favourite song on the CD is really "Warning Sign." I think it's even better than some of the songs on the album, and if they had polished it up more it could have been included as an album track and not just as an afterthought b-side.
