what hidden tracks???
I thought we had decided this was a lark that someone had gone on?!?!?!
We did, check his number of posts. He probably did not look through the other threads before starting a new one.

Check behind the refrigerator.
There is no hidden tracks..
That's the running gag on NOOL about Love Vigilantes not being on Retro, it has blown out of proportion ![]()
OK...since I was the first to fall for this before...I'll have to say that the best response yet was the one about bending the cd in half and finding a speeded up Kraftwerk like song that went "clank" really fast or something like it....
THIS IS GREAT, NEXT TIME, INSTEAD OF LAZILY READING A FEW POSTS ON A MESSAGE BOARD I AM NEW TO, I WILL DEFINITELY DO SOME RESEARCH. SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT BUNCH AND I GOT A LAUGH OUT OF IT. AND WHY DO WE NEED LOVE VIGILANTES ON THE "RETRO", WHEN WE ALL HAVE IT ON VINYL FROM ASSORTED COUNTRIES, ON A COUPLE OF CDS, LIVE, A FEW VERSIONS, ETC. BUT, THATS NOT THE POINT, IS IT. WE REALLY DID NEED IT ON RETRO.
Because one person here posted 3-4 messages in 3-4 different threads going "Have you noticed Love Vigilantes is not on Retro?".. so there goes the chain reaction... ![]()
are you sure love vigilantes isnt on it? it must be hidden or wait mislabled, did you check mesh?

One of the several dozen Fine Times is really LV.
The 5th bonus disk is 2 sided, that's why it isn't blue on top like the others. Love Vigilantes is on it, I just tried it. You wouldn't believe what else is on it too...
I found today that if you put the booklet in your cd player, you'll find Love Vigilantes, the 49 minute version of The Happy One, and the original 12 minute JD version of In A Lonely Place.

if you listen closely I think you'll find it's the NO version with Ian singing on it...
Put Retro disc one in your CD player, then take it out again. Next put your Low-Life CD in, press "Play" and, lo and behold, Love Vigilantes! This also works with the bonus disc.

You weren't the first. That distinction goes to.....well, it would be unprofessional of me to name and shame! Let's just say that I'm sure Jeff had a good laugh if he noticed who it was.
