Am I the only one there? or is this one of Electronic's finest moment?

This song totally rocks.. I didn't like it at first, but it's definitively a grower.. this features an extremely good guitar solo (by Johnny Marr I guess)

Ok, Bernard's voice is modified in the song, but overall, I'd love to have more songs like these.. it's something you don't see anywhere else.. they tried with Rock The Shack, but that didn't work.

Prodigal Son live would be a very nice experience.

One of my favorite songs off that album. In fact one of my favorite Electronic songs period. Great openning line: "You may be a star in your own mind, but you're greatly deluded in mine"

Prodigal Son is a better song than Close Range which is lyrically similar. The best song on TT in my opinion

I think PS defines how Electronic should have sound from the beginning. I guess they found their unique sound there. from there no more Barney+Johnny. they became "Electronic" for once. TT is my favourite album and PS my favourite song. I voted it for the best Electronic song ever.

This song rocks....

Much more than many of the attempts at rocking on Retro (IMHO)

Also liked radiation as well!!

Clearly GR was born out of this new direction (after RTP)...and in some cases I think it works better.

I think that TT is right up there with GR if not better in certain ways...Marr is certainly a genius.

Yes, a great song indeed, so good that it featured, in it's remixed form, as the soundtrack to a "Goal of the Week" type show on portuguese TV two years ago!

Definitely a big favourite of mine! I've heard reports that you drink, and take drugs most of the time........Barney's been hanging about Corby has he? :lol:

Superb lyrics, with a great backing music.....definitely a highlight of the album.
