ok, confession time.

i have not skipped Slow Jam since i got Retro. I don't like it yet but i can tolerate it in a way that was not possible before. I also must say that when Shellshock comes on after BLT on the Club disc, i click my heels and fly away to 1987 again in a state of bliss...when all is said and done, even the worst newOrder songs are better than almost anything else i could listen to.

top 5 most hated but still enjoyed:

hmm that's interesting- cause you were always the most vehement hater of Slow Jam. To me it's a good song- a few good lyrical lines- I like the "arithmetic" joke- good drums and guitar, better than Rock the Shack in my opinion. Has a better chorus than Someone Like You. Maybe it only sounded bad becasue it came after Primitive Notion?

Could be - I don't mind slow jam. Primitive Notion is great... maybe should have ended the CD?

i never liked "We all stand" that much, but i find myself listening to the live-version of this track very often these days...

Apparently TOE JAM is Steve's fav. track from GR........ ....and I think he mentioned that it contains some pretty good message in that song.....

...but still.....I skip that whenever LOCOMOTIVE MOTION finishes......
