Pitchfork reviews Retro. www.pitchforkmedia.com

It's a harsh rating, but I agree with most everything said in there.

Crystal is a Cure rip off:lol:

What a pile of shite, several other pieces of the review are pure bollocks an all.

It's worth a read though:D

The original Temptation is 'rancid, demo-quality'???? And the pointless 87 version is 'lush, world famous'????

Crystal is a remix of A Forest???

Still an interesting read though.

And you can't really forgive him for saying 'Sunrise' is the most boring track from Low Life!&

I tend to like pitchfork, however. They're my #1 music site these days..

But he called Sunrise boring while praising Face-up!

I love the Cure and I think calling Crystal a rip off of any Cure song (expecially Forest) a lame thought that was expelled through the writer's arse and somehow splattered on that review.

I'd dont agree with a negative review of NewOrder. but thats hardly surprising now is it..!

such a good thing IS such a good thing. the bloke in question does indeed know his material and subject. an ocean apart does not put us yanks "touching from a distance".
