Jim...even though you don't like RTS...can we still be friends???

of course jeff, but it was targeted at Shuggy who must be watching SOCCER...now if that don't get um, it will for about 39% of the people here right???

good...seeing as I've always been the defender of RTS...I did take a bit of offense to it...and you aren't talking about footie are you???

I can't fucking stand Every Little Counts, it has the most pathetic lyrics and has to by far be their weakest song. I even like Equatronic's cover way better. I wouldn't place this song in my top 1000 songs of all time, and I don't even know if I even like 1000 songs.

Although, I'm the one acception of a New Order fan who does everything backwards. I love State Of The Nation, Republic might very well be my favorite album, I'm practicly in love with Procession and Doubts Even Here. I liked every song (except Blue Monday and The Beach) on Blue Order. I actually think Slow Jam is cool. I love the 1996 version of World In Motion. (the rest of) New Order was genius in my opinion. I don't care much for Turn My Way. And I think Run Wild is the worst track on Get Ready. Shellshock is great, despite the accusations of it 'sucking'. I just recently got into Temptation, though I had to find appreciation through Transmutator's cover version. Such A Good Thing was grotesque the first time I heard it, but now I love it. I even like Behind Closed Doors. Blue Monday still rules (me and my girlfriend were really drunk so we slow danced to it at my grad). Special is the best song off of Republic, and the best New Order song of all time is The Perfect Kiss, not Temptation. Oh yeah, and Brutal is pretty good too. But that's just my opinion.

I think Movement is better than PCL.

I hate most of Republic, but I like Times Change and Young Offender.

I like most of Get Ready, even Vicious Streak, Run Wild and Slow Jam. I don't like Rock the Shack or Turn My Way.

I like the B-side CD of Substance better than the A-side.

I'm tired of Blue Monday.

I think Fine Time is brilliant. Indeed, I think Technique is their finest hour.

I don't like the TBTHOG video. While it's funny as hell, I think TBTHOG is one of NO's better songs and the song is lost in the hamming-up.

And Run does sound like Leaving on a Jet Plane.

I'm going to get flamed for this. Been into NO since ever, think PC&L is both their best AND their most influential album. But I've never been able to get into Age of Consent.
