Here's something that needs rescuing from FAC101 - Hooky's bass guitar sound on Republic : I can only assume that's where the trademark sound has disappeared too anyway

1-The third disc of Retro

2-The backing vocals on "Shame of the nation"

3-"60 MPH" video

4-The journalists that say New Order are a "techno band"

I hate and detest the digipak single format, so they can go.

I also wanna banish this idiot band who was sitting in front of me and my date at the 89 Portland show: the Dharma Bums, who had a bit of popularity stateside in the indie scene for awhile, but were absolute bollocks whenver I happened to see them live, with their sub-R.E.M. style. I can clearly recall the annoyance of a lot of people when they were added to a Julian Cope show, and we asked the box office that they should pay us to listen to those clowns. Shut the f*ck up and get off of the freakin' stage already!

These clueless individuals were just standing stock still while the Order were onstage, and then they left not even half way through the show. Still makes me mad to this day, sorry I just had to get that off my chest.

Banish the following:

• Lonesome Tonight (because of that stupid spit part)
• Every Little Counts (because the lyrics are worthless)
• Ruined In A Day reggae mixes
• 60 Miles An Hour (Supermen Lovers Remix)
• Anyone who doesn't like State Of The Nation (I'm sick of the badmouthing this song)
• Those 10,000 remixes of True Faith that all sound like the Shep Pettibone remix, the only difference being they are all different by say a minute and a few seconds...
• The Eighth Circle and OPK for butchering Bizarre Love Triangle
• Anyone who thinks New Order coverd Orgy's 'Blue Monday' (haha!!)
• Run Wild (just because it does nothing for me)
• The fact that there was no 3rd CD in Substance (Bizarre Dub Triangle, Subvulture/Dubvulture, True Dub..)
• The fact that they didn't include Vicious Circle in Republic
• Anyone who dislikes Doubts Even Here
• The fact that the ony way to get Brutal in your collection is to buy some shit soundtrack, Retro or burn a CD-R
• The ending (or shall I say 'outro') to Shellshock by The Rams (from the new tribute)
• The fact that they stopped playing Procession live
• Billy Corgan, when he was 'with' New Order :P
• Anyone who disrespects Ian Curtis or the album dedicated to him

Excessively tall people who stand at the VERY front at gigs, usually up by the barriers, blocking your view, ruining photographs and generally appearing disinterested throughout, they dont make a sound, they dont move a muscle and appear to want to be somewhere else.

surely not all of tt - it contains some of electronic's finest moments - Prodigal son ranks up with many NO songs. Agree about live versions of BLT and Touched, but True Faith live has been excellent recently.
