Interesting concept for a thread: gigs New Order won't be doing this year!

Apparently they're not doing Glastonbury either. And I've checked Time Out and they don't appear to be doing any gigs in London this weekend.

Anyone know any others?!

They aren't playing at V festival.

Or at my local's "live bands" night on thursday next week.

There's no mention of them in the TV listings for SMTV or CD:UK either !

New Date Deleted:

(not) from SEATTLE TIMES: Electro-acoustic pioneers New Order will not be playing The Showbox tonight April 4, 2003. Even though no official statement has been released, sources close to the Times report Ex Joy Division members: Bernard Albrecht (Sumner), Peter (Hooky) Hook, Steven (Tank) Morris, will not play their JD classics Love Will Tear Us Apart, Heart and Soul or Atmosphere in Seattle tonight. In what must be a protest against the US-UK Coalition Forces, the boys who brought you Blue Monday will also not be performing tonight in the UK. In a related story, no NewOrder songs will be played on the radio today. MTV is beleived to have banned their videos from rotation. An MTV spokesperson is not believed to have said "Those fascists will not get played on MTV ever again!"...more detals as they become unavailable.

I've just checked my quiet local pub which does jazz nights on a Monday. They're not playing there either. Where can they be ? Where will it end-ah, where will it end-ah? Altogether now.....
