Turn my Way it is... the type of song New Order doesn't do enough IMHO.

Someone Like You is brillant, but only if you remove the cheesy chorus.

Crystal is #2...

It's just as well they haven't done them - they'd have never had any fans and certainly wouldn't still be going these days if they'd turned out shite like that on every album !

I agree with you Benny. Turn My Way is generic ROCK N ROLL and could have been done by any 3 piece with an ounce of talent. Boring Rock by numbers with Pathetic lyrics and a gimmick on top of it all (billy c.).

Someone Like You is fantastic even with the cheesy chorus when compared to the rock-y side of Get Ready (Slow Jam, Turn My Way, Rock the Shack)

Primitive Notion is the best song on Get Ready IMHO followed by:

Crystal, Vicious Streak, SLY, Close Range and 60 MaH...all in all, it must be said that Get Ready was/is a terrific album and one that still sounds fresh...

btw, someone actually has SLY vinyl promos? because it wasn´t an official release, am I right? how many copies were printed of those?

No, it is an official release.. the vinyl release was SLY, the CD release was 60MAH...

Promo items can't be sold by HMV and co, and SLY was sold there...

A shame that there is no official CD source for the Gabriel & Desden remixes though.. there is the US promo which is unfindable, but other than this... :shrug:

Crystal is #1 on GR. Its an outstanding track. Its much better than the rest of this cd. this song is the best thing they did since Regret.

SLY's the third best song on GR for me. #2 and #1 respectively are Crystal and 60 MPH.
