Here's another one for you: any PRINCE appreciators here? Reason for this is that if you play the drum machine intro of the original 1987 version of "1963" and then cop an earful of the intro to"It" from his royal purple squiggly MF's classic "Sign O' The Times" LP, you may be pleasantly surprised.......so, go figure!!!

Having made use of the repeat a-b function on my cd player to continuously loop the part in question and turning the volume up to earth shattering levels, it sounds to me like a wailing guitar sound and the drum machine carrying on a bit too long. Oh and a lot of hissing too.

I just got the results back from the British Audio Survey Techniques And Really Difficult Sounds (B.A.S.T.A.R.D.S. for short) group, and they say the sound at the end of "1963" is the mating call of the south american coughing antelope. So, mystery solved.
