I recently heard this remix and I must say I liked it. I have only heard it once on musicmatch radio but it has a nice modern flavor to Confusion which does not spoil the original much, if it all.
What would you guys rank this track 1-10?

i think it's fantastic--a 9. my favourite track on the club disc by far, and one of the best remixes of any song. ever. turn up the bass and make the walls shake on this one!
Is there anyway I can get this TRACK without having to buy RETRO? Any other NO albums that have this exact track?

I don't really like confusion, it might be a good remix, but still, it's not likely that I will put that on a compilation CD...!
But it's near the best version of confusion though, I'm having a hard time choosing which version is better (1990 vs 2002)

Arthur Baker's remix of 1963 goes to the top of my list, and it turned a song I didn't care in a song in my top 20..
Shep Pettibone's remixes of BLT and True Faith of course.. the extended mix of Round & Round, the Reunited in a day (or K-Klass) remix of Ruined in a day.. those comes to mind when talking of good remixes.
As for confusion, the Alternative mix from the 1990 remixes is probably my favorite, but like I said, it's not one of my favorite tracks..
I give it a 5, I think I'm the only one on here who actually enjoys the original mix of Confusion above the remixes (even the live version is sweet, Barney kicks ass with the bass) 
Certainly an improvement on the original, and one of the better remixes IMHO (there is a best remixes poll somewhere, I seem to remember). I give it a 7.

My favourite remixes are the Arthur Baker 1963, the Perfecto Mixes of World and Vanishing Point Making Out Mix.
Too many people don't know the 1990 remixes I guess...
Those were semi-official, but they are good indeed!
