I really like this vid too, except for the gloopy "meaningful" female voice-overs. And btw, it was filmed in 1993, well before Barn started to 'pork out' to his current proportions.

Barney at his most charming I reckon, but you can't be serious about Bono! The man is a menace ...if I had the equipment (and the knowledge) I'd be cutting him out!

He ruined the Transmission video by popping in to offer his opinions! Wait for Ian to stop dancing before you act like an ass, Bono!
I cherish this as well, it'll be a year this month that Muffy sent me a copy (though, as I've discussed numerous times, my VCR wouldn't fucking play it. Props to the Muff-ster anyway, and also Frank Smarra for the copy I could watch).
One question: What was the idea behind doing Transmission from 'Something Else' entirely in green? the band looked like they had just come from a bad fish restaurant or something 
Still have yet to get my hands on a NTSC copy (Canadian preferrably), or even the American version, if they still exist in stores somewhere...
If I do manage to get to the NYC NOOL get2gether, someone PLEASE bring the unabridged copy. You'd be my personal hero.
Yea i got the original on PAL but i know a mate who can burn region free dvd's from original dvd's and video's ;)
So i'll see if i can get a couple of copies done for when i come over to the states in the summer.

But did they really sacrifice the poor sheep ? That part had upset me. It would also be cruelty to animals, wouldn't it ?
perhaps i'm asking too much here but would it be possible for someone to rip the video into divX or something similiar for the benefit of the cheapskates and the homeless?

What a nice idea... I'd take that too, I'm always scared that my VCR would eat the tape when I watch it :D
