how can the release date be the 21st april?

thats a bank holiday.

Wasn't Get Ready released on a Bank Holiday?

I certainly didn't go into work to listen to it.

i thought all records were released on a monday?

cant remember about GR as I had the promoe for a while so had already been listening to it for a bit before it came out, although did then go & buy it anyway

Here it's the choice of the place you work for, one of the other, if you are lucky they give you both!

one of the few times we benefit in the uk, yep, we get both days off. no thanksgiving, mlk day, independance day etc etc off for us, a poxy 8 days extra a year.

have just asked in virgin & they confirm that it is out that day & that they will be open.

We don't have that either here (well we do have a thanksgiving)..

Holidays in Quebec, let's see...

New Year's Day Good Friday OR Easter Monday Victoria Day (3rd monday of May, we called it Queen's day though) St-Jean-Baptiste (Quebec National Holiday - June 24th) Canada Day (July 1st) Labour Day (First Monday of September) Thanksgiving (Second Monday of October) Christmas Day (December 25th) Boxing Day (December 26th)

That makes it 9 days...

new years day 2 @ easter may day spring bank holiday summer bank holiday xmas day boxing day

Gee, Avril is Canadian, so there is hope it will be released here...
