I wonder how many foreign venues have perhaps gone through name changes over the years too, which might hike it up. Same as the Forum and T&C have traded names. Same venue, different name.

Blue Monday was played twice at three different gigs in 1983. At Glasgow Tiffanys, Detroit St.Andrews Hall and Montreal Spectrum they played both the short 3 min version and the full track.
Statto was Fantasy Football, and Data was used for one of the Star Trek things.....

not off of park street? saw kristin hersch in a church of park street (playing a concert, she wasn't attending a service) a few years back

not off of park street? saw kristin hersch in a church of park street (playing a concert, she wasn't attending a service) a few years back

Tim...I can give a little help with a couple of the US amphitheatres...
Starplex Amphitheatre here in Dallas has hosted 2 gigs 89 & 93
Shoreline in Mountainview hosted gigs in 93 & 02, and I think...they played this same place in 89...any of you left coasters know if this is true???

True. They played in June with Sugarcubes and Public Image Ltd.
Montpellier 89, they played True Faith 1.5 times (it screwed up at the start of the set, and it became the first encore instead). Perfect Kiss at Sobell 85 was the same sort of thing - it went wrong so they started Ceremony and then began Perfect Kiss again from the top.
Mind you, best example of a song starting and stopping was Big Country in 1983. Stuart Adamson (god rest his soul) was geting pissed off with the crowd spitting at him so he stopped mid-riff on Close Action and lambasted the crowd, then immediately picked up where he'd left off on the same riff. Quality.

Cheapest that I've paid was £1.50 at the Michael Sobell Sports Centre...but that was a dicounted price if you were a student or unemployed.

I think Brum 82 was only two quid. JD Malvern was £2.50. Most gigs 82-84 were between £3 and £4 though. Back of my mind is telling me that Pompey was only £3.50 when the rest of the tour was £4 or £4.50, I'll have to dig the tickets out. (Job in itself, seeing as they are 150 miles away in a cupboard !)

It was all thanks to Cuddly Ken Livingstone and the GLC...! They were promoting a series of concerts tho' I can't remember what any of the others were!
