Anyone Know how to Covert Dvd Chapters to MP3s? I like to make a CD of 316 and 511

i downloaded the entire taras schevchenko performance (all but denial) from limewire on mp3 format. i think it was converted from the 3 16 dvd.

Just hook the sound output of the dvd player into the mp3 recorder. Crude but easy.

Andy, you'll need 3 software applications to digitally convert DVD chapters to audio: SmartRipper to extract the VOB files, FlaskMPEG to convert these files to MPEG and extract the audio WAV files and CDex to create the MP3 files.

Of course you can user other applications, but I'm quite satisfied working with these.

There's nothing wrong with the link http://www.flaskmpeg.net. Just click on "Downloads", select the desired version and then select a mirror.

Ive ripped the 511 DVD to CD.. i could encode to mp3 and post for ya???? e-mail me & let me know.

i encoded to mp3, but boy, the sound quality has been compromised, and the mix is low... hmm any better way of doing this?

did you select 5.1 Sound or 2 channel?

make sure you select 2 channel for MP3.
