fuck it, the link did'nt work, or I don't know how to paste a link. just check out Ebay, Joy Division, highest price items.
LINK. Wow! ![]()
There's truly some amazing stuff there. Looks like YouKnowWho's gonna win it all though.
Begs the question: why would someone sell all this stuff in the first instance?!
I mean, someone's kept (and presumably cherished) these bits & pieces for 25-odd years. A thousand pounds (as it currently stands) doesn't do any of this collection justice.

I'm betting he's married :D ("It's either me or the Joy Division, dear!")
I'd take JD myself....![]()
Mr Sultan attacks again :)
High bidder: worldinmotion
I wish I was rich enough to buy all them :(
The reserve is not met though. He is the highest bidder at 1020 pounds.
Is that *really* worth so much so far?
Gee, I'll start collecting debut albums of unknown bands all over the world just in case they become "mythic" ![]()

Yeah, this material is worth many thousands if sold individualy, the signed Ideal For Living, posters etc etc would fetch mega money. It must be gut wrenching for the seller but who knows their reasoning, I know what it's like to sell cherished stuff off cheaply to make the mortgage.

Don't worry Julio, I will get them for you ![]()

Thanks Peter
God bless you ![]()
If you are like me and hate this listing, here are the items in a readable way:
Okay, this guy is fucking nuts if he's selling all this! ![]()
My god, how many of us would kill for such a collection?....No, really, how many of us? :violent2:
Over 2,000 registered members here.
Let's have a whip round.
£2.50 each will give us a war chest of 5K.
I don't mind looking after these wonderful
pieces of memorobilia on all your behalf.:D
Hum, it's true we can all buy a part of the whole together, time share? You have it one month, I have it the other month, etc ![]()
Nah, only kidding.. it's true it's the only way to get a full collection quickly, but it's true this is worth more if sold seperatly...

Debut singles, actually. I don't know if Interpol are going to become mythic, but their first EP was sold at eBay for US $172.49! Link here.
As someone said at Factory mailing list, some sellers are trying to make their own "An Ideal for Living" EP.

Talking about Interpol...
Ricardo
Did you watch on Cultura TV a programme called Auto-Falante that had a special report about Interpol and drew some albums and singles by them ? It was last friday, not pretty sure cause I arrived at home drunk :barf:
Crikey. Let's keep watching and see what it goes for. Nice idea by Larsson 7 for the whip round of £2.50 each. That should allow each of us to keep it for, oh, around a week!
GBP 1,320.00 (approx. US $2,177.34 ) (reserve not yet met)
8 days to go..
I wonder what the reserve is :D
BTW, after seeing a post on Ceremony (the mailing list), I don't think Mr Sultan will let this go.. he bought a damn CDR containing all the crappy remixes from 1995 for 250$USD.. so for a full set of Joy Division records, I guess it's worth a lot more!
And I tought my 50$ CDN for Run2 was too much back in 1993 ;)
Well fuck me running, that has to be the greatest treasure trove of JD shit I've ever seen. It's too bad you can't barter on Ebay or at least sell body bits, because I'd be all too willing to part with my left nut for that stash.

Does Stash know about this ?
Like everybody has said AMAZING.
Does Peter Hook know? if not can he be told?
If a whip around is a serious idea I am up for a contribution.
Does anybody have any idea where this collection is.
Presumably the seller must have an equally significant bootleg collection and must be known to someone.

Genuine bid. No harm in trying, is there ?
