Which side of the first single do you prefer and why?
My own vote goes to In A Lonely Place, because it sounds more distinctly like the funereal side of Joy Division found on Closer. Very atmospheric and eerie, especially given the lyrics.

What a f@%king debut that turned out to be. Magnificent! When i first heard IALP, thought it was Ian singing. If I have to pick my favourite song, it's Ceremony.
Ceremony, one of the best songs ever written. If I don't listen to it for some weeks and then I do, it brings tears to my eyes...

Love 'em both, but have to go with Ceremony, which is one song I've never tired of listening to. Ever.
Ceremony, the mood is different from other JD songs. The name sounds happy. And it's my first JD song.
Difficult to choose from David, but i'll go with "Ceremony". I tend to get bored with "In A Lonely Place" during the last minute but i love the drum pattern, one of Steven's best.
