I don't know if anyone else has come across this, at IanCurtis.org you can basically get an email adress as yourself@IanCurtis.org...I don't know how safe it is re viruses, and how reliable. I've registered myself more as a novelty. Any opinions, :thumb: or  ? Or

I may be wrong, but I think the webmaster of IanCurtis.org is incubation, that guy with an enourmous Joy Division list. :deal:

I like his website, it's quite good, but I never created an IanCurtis.org e-mail account for myself.

That Incubation site has some great stuff on it, especially a lot of good pictures (that you unfortunately can't jack). That said, does anyone have the Anton Corbijn photo of Barney and Ian carrying some heavy case, which the former Mrs. Curtis describes in her book?

I tried to register for twice. But I can only send email, not receiving any msgs... so I didnt use it finally.

Actually we can create a joy diviison email, rite?

You can jack all of the pictures on that site - it's not difficult !

The flight case picture appears briefly in the video for Atmosphere and was also used as the cover for the Solitary Demands bootleg. There's a scan of the latter here...

It's a bit grainy but that's the fault of the sleeve rather than the scan!

The guy from Incubation may be... but some chap called 'Charlee Chuckles' obviously isn't.

He seems to have the whole set posted on his geocities site...

Go HERE

Obviously some Northern chap with a rather silly sense of humour...

Not sure how long he'll be able to keep them there...

As for the chap from 'Incubation' - I'm sure he wouldn't mind Charlee posting pics - unless of course, the chap from 'Incubation' is called Anton Corbijn, Phillipe Carly, Deborah Curtis, etc. as I reckon they probably own the copyright...

And as anyone who has ever visited any 'closed down' JD sites will know, Mr. Corbijn doesn't like other people using his photos...

P.S. Doesn't Nathalie look scarily like Ian? Rather attractive, in my opinion (Nathalie, not Ian. Well..*ahem* okay...)

P.P.S. Welcome back, LWTUA! :)

Thanx Chris :D You are very kind

Don't thank me mate - thank 'Charlee'

I'm almost sure I've seen that picture in An Ideal for Living book, could anyone check it out ? They'd both been wearing winter coats or raincoats on it, I remember that as well.

No, that one's not in the Ideal for Living book tho' there are a few others taken at the same time - the grainy one with Barney and Ian whispering, Rob Gretton kicking out at Ian and one of Ian in TJ Davidson's...they were all taken at the LWTUA video session.

I had always read "U.S. Joy Division" in the case. What is written, at all?
