I'll be interested to know if your next 511 is any better.

Originally posted by Taboo # 7 Everything else on the DVD (the interviews and "Earlier in the Day") played fine, no problems at all. It's just the concert sounded awful. I went back to the store and got another copy, but if it does the same thing I'll just have to cancel it :nonono:Any complaints about the sound on 316? Just wondering, my order for that hasn't come in yet.

My copy of 316 is also fine, in fact the sound quality is really good. I hope there is no prob w/ 511 I want to buy it soon

Ladies and gentlemen, I wish I had better news to report but....the new copy did the same damn thing! :mad2: At least I knew to expect it, but still...

How is the Canadian version (the one I was too chicken to order way back when)? Any problems with that edition, sound-wise? I'm absolutely spent as far as getting it anytime soon, mind you, what with school starting back and books needing to be bought, but I might try for the Canadian if it's not too loud for my otherwise fine TV speakers.

The record store has 316 on "backorder" but I may look around and try my luck elsewhere.

My DVD player and TV speakers are fine, even marvelous, when used to watch my other 15 or 20 DVDs. It's sort of the DVD's fault, and sort of my speaker's fault, that 511 has to be the one to be fucking up. It seems I'm not alone (see some of the responses above), and *hopefull* 316 will not have the same problem.
