I found that on the net (mp3)... descriptions says:

01 Slam Vs New Order - Crystal Education (bootleg) 07:59

It's a breaks mash-up of New Order's "Crystal" and Slams "Positive Education", got it on a single-side promo today and I'm just wondering if it goes in the box or in the bin, anything with Positive Education in it should be good but it's the kind of thing that some people would take umbrage at and throw bottles....

I'm listening to it right now, I don't think it's any good, but in case someone really wants it.. I'll have to add it to the discography anyways.

i would love to hear this. Positive Education is a great track. I heard Billy Nasty mix that at Club UK in 94 and have loved it since. Where did you get it and where can i find a copy? Floyds FTP?

...sounds interesting, but the unofficial 303 Remix in fact is better... ...and, whoever added this, I'm afraid 2 tell, it's incomplete...

That's because the server keeps cutting, and due to the fact that there is no password, instead of resuming it prompts you for a password when logging back.. plus the fact that when you do start the resume, the original isn't at the same place, so you can't resume!!

Hi, Mr. Webmaster...

...being very sorry 4 that unconveniences, but I'm a newbie that ways... ...I got this server installed, u know, (@ first I was not really appreciative 4 !) without knowing, what to do with it (can u imagine ?) :rolleyes: ... ...next fact is, I STILL can't handle it as well as I should, 'cause nobody told me, so I must learn it by myself; that'll takes time... ...@ the end I see no other way to tell adders (knowing, that u'r not an adder officially) :wink: , that files r incompleted... ...but anyway, thank u 4 ur attentiveness...

Actually, my email addresses didn't work for a few days, it was back up on august 12th..

well, the song finally finished downloading and it was worth the wait. as i mentioned before, i really love Positive Education. This updated mix-up sounds like the beats were taken from the Lee Coombs mix with the off-beat elements coming from Positive Education. "We're Like Crystal" mixes with "Positive Education" and that's about all the vocal bits in the song. Good use of the break in Positive Eductaion for a drop out two-thirds through. Shite quality though. The server at this point should be limited to 192kbps recordings unless it's extremely rare or a live recording. I guess this fits but i'd love to get a louder copy. I guess i gotta boost the eq myself. Thanks for sharing this.

Speaking of vinyl only cuts..didn't the Confusion 2002 vinyl feature a few differences than the CD release. For example, the original vocal was used over one of the mixes that features the updated vocal and most versions are longer on the vinyl promo's. Can someone put those up?
