Love this, been listening to it for the last couple of days.

Thanks for the feedback and the emails regarding this. And to think, I 'nearly' never took my minidisc recorder Been downloaded 97 times upto now........when shall we kill it ???? 100 maybe ??? What do you reckon ? Old lead foot, Jack,........Hooky

Makes no diffrence to me I might add, don't know how the people involved feel about stuff like this being readily available. I know when Stranglers things appear on the net, there's always someone who downloads it and sells it on ebay, hence the band crack down on it.

Haven't taken it yet, I must admit. It will be interesting to see how it sounds vs. the other recording I have.

if the fans want it they will get it, wether we(the band) do anything about it or not. if it isnt costing you anything and you want to leave it up then fine by me. i don't think the guys will have a problem with it,(correct me if i'm wrong jack),if its gonna be freely available to all, then keep it going, we're not in a position to take anyone to court over seling it online, it would be too hard to trace them down and ting, so if you can do fer FREE, that will under cut them and the fans still get the music, its not like an album were we have a deal with a lable and your selling bootleg copies to the point that our lable are loosing revenue, your offering a gig recording done on your own equipment for people to listen to after the fact. fans in brazil or japan woulnt have come to the gig for pottsy's set plus a jd track 2 NO and 2 monaco songs would they? well they might, but i doubt they would come for a full blown monaco gig,this way, as with you tube they and everyone else can get a taste of what went on, thanks to all for taking the time to do this stuff and listen to our work, its what we do it for in the first place .

we're all busy doing our own things at the moment, hooky is very busy in cannes and will be doing various promo things for control, not sure about much else????, and pottsy has a new single out soon so we will be doing some promo for that, as for more monaco gigs, we will have to wait and see, i REALY cant promise any more than that, glad y'all liked it tho, i enjoyed it too

sorry so late in replying nic, been on holiday and changed isp in the last few weeks, and just got text from pottsy, single is finished and should be out soonish, will let y'all know when i know. tracks are 1, monkey in the rain 2, roll up (featuring peter hook)3, minion 4, i'm not sleeping. we played monkey at the hard rock gig so you can get the idea off the recording above, big thank you to tim for sending the c.d. of the nool gig and the hard rock recording, will listen when i get time, rehearsing for the dario gig in latvia on the 16th.
