You'll have to forgive my recent rash of Python-related posts, I just can't stop myself from such silliness...
Anyway, I thought perhaps, instead of just asking whether you prefered Python to SNL (that thread started and then stopped), I'd ask about the individual Python films. (something tells me I've done this poll before, but what the hell?) As for me...I'll have to get back to you on that
Holy Grail!!! The 'burn the witch' logic is BRILLIANT... 
Witches Burn. This one is fair enough - though the villagers suggest trying to actually burn her as way of testing this.
Wood Burns. Hence witches are made of wood. How do you check that she is made of wood? Try building a bridge out of her, one suggests - but Bedevere points out that you can also make bridges from stone.
Wood Floats. Bedevere gently leads them to this point, and asks them if they know anything else that floats.
Ducks Float. They actually have a lot of trouble thinking of something else that floats - and it is Arthur, who has just arrived on the scene, who says: `A Duck!' (stunned amazement and dramatic music.)
Therefore... The logic goes: that if she weighs the same as a duck, she's a witch and they can burn her. So they put her on a set of scales with a duck, and of course she does weigh the same (`it's a fair cop').
Meaning of Life is definitely the best flick, never have I seen so many breasts moving up and down at one time
Voted for Holy Grail, but I was sorely tempted to write in Live At The Hollywood Bowl. Saw that in the theaters when it came out and I can't recall ever laughing so hard.
I also saw Meaning Of Life and Life Of Brian in the theaters, and both showings had a total attendance of 10.

I watched Hollywood Bowl again last night (It was part of the "Monty Pyhon Live" boxset), I really didn't like it the first time around but on this viewing I found it hilarious. I loved when all the guys were in danger of cracking up during the "Church Police" skit (Terry Jones struggling to keep his wig on, Michael and John about to burst out laughing), and World Forum remains one of my favorite things Python ever did.

The Meaning Of Life is on TV tomorrow night, may watch it, but it's not their best movie, it's a toss up between Life Of Brian, The Holy Grail and Live At The Hollywood Bowl.
Being brought up very religiously i found LIFE OF BRIAN to be brilliant.Extremely funny indeed.

Yes i have just been reading about this film in a supplement from THE MAIL ON SATURDAY! This looks like a film i am going to have to watch.
Watched TMOL again on Murdochtv , sadly I did'nt laugh once, not a titter. Think I'll keep Hollywood bowl as a memory .. just in case

No, and the more I noticed I had'nt laughed the further into a downer I slipped, even the waffer theen meent left me jaded
