Indeed, the best thing on this Xmas though I thought the ending was dire. And, apparently they only got 6mill viewers on BBC1, when they used to drag in 5mill on BBC2.
Thought the Dawn/Tim thing was appaling. They should've left it with him talking about how life doesn't always work out like you want it (or something?) with her going off in a cab.
Also had a look at a few newsgroups and people seemed to think Brent had really put Finchy in his place by telling him to f'off the way he did. Whereas, to me, it looked like Finchy didn't give a sh1te and Brent had just sullied his position by losing his cool. But that's just my two'penneth.
Still the best thing I've seen on TV this Xmas though.
The first part was the best,the second was an anti climax.
The David Brent video is up there with the Red Nose dance.
It was the best thing on the idiot box this xmas, although there were some good lines in the Fools and Horses special.
