However the order did fill a cricket stadium... but the officials were assholes and the rider had been drunk when we finaly found it baseball it is then

i really dont know either... Both unknown here. All i can say, is that they seem quite fun to play, but not as fun to watch. But then, like i said, im not the most reliable person in the world to speak about these 2 ;)

Baseball is a hell of a lot more fun to play than it is to watch. But that's probably true of any sport, don't you think?

So I'm going to go out on a limb here, and take a wild guess that football (soccer) is known in Greece. What else is popular?

Yeah ure guess is quite true: Football (soccer) is the most popular team sport here. Basketball is very big too, (if u follow national basketball team history, u ll see that the greek national team has remarkable succeses considering we re a small country). Football and basketball are the only sports that have professional leagues (btw Dominique Wilkins played for a year here back in 1996 - that was probably the biggest "highlight" of the greek league ;) ). As for other team sports there is not much room left for them, but basically volleyball and waterpolo have their audiences (and semi-professional leagues too).

1 day cricket is great! the different playing styles of all the different countries make this game very interesting...

If the tour dates were posted here, how many would notice ? Just the cricketers ? Or lurkers..

Here in Argentina nobody plays any of both, so I have no idea.

Maybe this will explain why cricket is great:

CRICKET: As explained to a foreigner...

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side thats been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out.

When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men called umpires who stay all out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out. When both sides have been in and all the men have been out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game!
