Remixes?

Sometimes remixes are interesting, but some are unlistenable!

Generally the answer is yes, but it would be good to see some remixes of older songs or album tracks on single releases instead of seeing 15,000 remixes of the same song on the single releases....

some are amazing, some are average, and some are a waste of time (and money). depends on the remix.

oooh, a little harsh! I love the fire island mix, especially on a hot summer afternoon, glass of vino, stick this on your pod....fantastic!

and I thought the aoc remix was, well, interesting...

The John Digweed mix of Crystal was boring. I think im the only person who thinks the Perfecto mix of World is crap,and i think the K.Klass mix of Ruined In A Day is wonderful. In general though,im not fussed-i like dance music,but i`d rather a New Order remix was done without it having to be 'dance'. David Holmes,Air and Massive Attack would all be interesting.

I like remixes if the sound is good and if they use at least some of the lyrics. Regardless of artist, remixes that hardly have the original lyrics aren't my cup of tea. There are exceptions, of course. I found the Armand van helden remix of "Bizarre Love Triangle" to be horrible, but I loved the "Pink Noise Club Mix" of True Faith and the "Fire Island" mix of Regret.

some are really good, but some well you know the ones I mean. the ones that hardly resemble the original song, and where hooky's bass has been left out really suck.
