WIM is good for a laugh, but vanishing point is the best of Technique

I went for the obvious loser...World In Motion. Simply to push its votes up and as its the best footie song ever. Its even a great song in its own right. VP is of course the great single that never was.

You don't need to be a rocket scientist to vote for VP over WIM.

No surprise VP is whipping WIM's arse. My own personal favourite song.

Vanishing Point is a beautiful song, whereas WIM is just another cheerful tune.

VP is the second or third best song off Technique. WIM wouldn't compare to the sixth or seventh best off that album.

In terms of historical significance, WIM by a street.

But not enough to overcome this strong Cup favourite.

It pained me to vote against WIM, as I just love that song so much, and I knew Vanishing Point was going to win anyway....

...but VP is one of New Order's all time best tracks. A worthy winner of the whole competition if you ask me
