TT was a missed opportunity for a great single, plenty of remix potential, and some of Bernard's best melodies and lyrics on E's 3 albums. Shame, but at least we have the superb album version. I'm sure it would have been a single had it been on a NO album.
I think at least seven of these songs are outstanding and worthy of being singles, but I voted for Twisted Tenderness, even thoguh I'm a big RTP fan.
I like Patience Of A Saint,because of the Barney/Neil Tennant duet.But my favourite's got to be IDIOT COUNTRY!
For me it's a toss up between Some Distant memory and Twister Tenderness. Both are fantastic tracks that should've hit #1 on charts all over the world.
Late at Night's half arsed release was distressing... TT and Dark Angel are other key missed boats.
some distant memory is the best song on there in my opinion but twisted tenderness would have made a killer single. so tt it is.
