  1. All of it is good.
  2. There are too many versions of it.
  3. I love it when the bass comes in in the intro. Gets the adrenaline pumping every time.

I like those mix between dark lyrics and funky beats. The `88 version realy make me crazy

:jawdrop: You... you WHAT!?

...er, anywho, 1]Best bit--The beat, the bass, the sound, the space! 2]Worst bit--Orgy's cover of it. :banghead: 3]Why I love it--For one, it can crowd the dance floor real quick! Also, there are a good slew of songs to pair this up with. And... I think it could mash up real well with EGG! Anyone wanna attempt that?

...er, anyone? 4] Percentage--99.7% [TPK always gets 100%]

Joke... Best bit: the start when it fades in. Worst bit: Hawtin getting his fingers on it. Like it 'cause the sleeve cost so much. Hate it 'cause it's all some people know about 'em.

The joke was actually referring back to my previous entry. Loses a bit in translation. What did the leper say to the prostitute? Keep the tip.

  1. best... the beginning and the beginning of the end

  2. worst... funny how the song seemed so SLOW a decade later after it was released. the song has no low bass.

  3. it really blew me away at the time. great production for the time, the guys were in the zone.

  4. at least a 90% -er, however you subjectively objectify such things

People aways complain about all the remixes... is there really all that many (offically)? The 88 12" is interesting but has dated more than the original, as well as being lesser. The 88 7" is a great reduction of the song to single size. The Hardfloor 12" is an excellent acid house by way of Germany techno track, timeless. The four others I have heard are less inspired but still good attempts, with the Ritchie Hawtin sounding the least inspired. The song was worthy of the remix attempts. Last 12 years, no remixes officially I think.

... Yeah and the Manuel/Andrea mixes were under-rated.

I actually think Warren Lapham did the best remix of BM.
