1 Best Bit Being very broad here but ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING about this song is great. One of the catchiest songs ever and one that I find myself singing along to all day long.

best bit: when the drums kick in during the verses worst bit: ??? the vocals on the substance version are a bit sugary, but hey why it kicks ass: a song i can drive around screaming the lyrics in a barney-esque off-key manner, and it always makes me very happy even if i am in a shit mood, which is usually embarrassing moment: involved a friend's sister. i will not say anything more

I can't believe no one has mentioned green eyes, blue eyes, grey eyes as the best bit.

Well, Jeff, for me it's the eyes line that give me chills, especially when it's repeated.

1. Best bit? Fantastic integration of sequencers and live guitars.
2. Worst bit? That I don't have the lauded original version so I can contribute to "Best version of Temptation?" threads. Can I find that on AudioGalaxy?
3. Great throughout. Awesome song structure. It's a simple little one-bar sequencer line, but they keep it dynamic with the guitars and vocals...tons of energy and feeling, subtle guitar work, nice. Some fun lyrics too.

5. I was moving out of my grad student apartment and into my girlfriend's place, and my mother came over to help clean up and found a rather vile old used condom that had slipped into the register grate under the bed. That was a bit embarassing.

Temptation's the song I skip-over in order to listen to Blue Monday.

1 Best Bit - The rush you get when the intro syths kick in and the elation that washes over from the first line 'heaven a gateway of hope' to the 'oooh's' , 'last fookin time(live)' 'thoughts from above' bit.. bloody hell i could go on all day but i wont!! :D

3 Why you love / love it - a bit like the feeling i get with BLT, before i hear it im like.. ohh its Temptation AGAIN... but i just cant help loving it when it plays and just seem to be incapable of gettin bored of it after years and years of hearing it

I just picked up the live Reading version (on the 60 Miles an Hour Australian tour EP) and I love it. In fact, I'm gonna go play it now.

:D YES. that version from Reading '98 ROCKS. and includes the ever-wunnerful "oh it's the last fucking time!"

...and for some strange reason, Barney COUNTING is what does it for me every time in that version, too. it's so good. i can't say enough good things about it, in fact.
