Best! easy. Marco Tardelli in the final for Italy v West Germany at Spain82. The look of sheer joy on his face as he wheeled away was amazing.

Worst. Bebeto's cradle like crap for Brazil in USA94. recently ripped off by John Terry v Hungary.

any others?

Can't find a pic/vid of it but Maradona's vein-busting raging run straight at a camera is memorable.

Can't remember if he was even celebrating his goal, or just an assist but the imagery is ingrained on me mind.

Shearer's straight arm is fairly iconic too.

Robbie Keane and Lua-Lua though, pair of cnuts. :ignore:

Best one could just maybe be the one for England's winning goal in the final... Worst will almost certainly be the one that knocks us out...

Yes, Crouch can start with his robotics then the rest of the England Team can descend into a monster break-dancing mash!

Its a tall order but Crouchy's is certainly head and shoulders above the rest... Girraffe to Peter! I like his actually:nod: Shearer's or Robbie Keane's is the worst. Shearer's is boring and Keane's looks like a pillock who is shite at gymnastics. Lee Sharpe's used to be good..... The best ever is Bernie Slaven's fence climbing circa 1988 Ayrsome Park:thumb:

for this world cup its going to be tough to come up with a catchier celebration than crouch's Robot

we might be witnessing the birth of the "new" Macarena!

The Hand Of God surely! Hits it in with his hand, then has a look round to see if he was rumbled, then when he see`s its ok starts celebrating!

Luis Fernandez for France when they knocked out Brazil on penalties at Mexico86 is another guddin. What a match that was. Platini missed a pen and they still won.

he celebrated that one by running holding the fist up in the air

you really never see a good shot of his hand actually hitting the ball though

Thompson is known to have only 9 toes:rofl:

i know. nearly as goods as Stevie Heighways at LFC. at least Southgate knows the club inside out, which is good. wonder why they went cold on Martin O'Neil? and England. strange that.

Word has it that O'neill is'nt big on youth academies,or young lads playing first team... Would have upset the whole structure at Boro. Southgate brings continuity, and is highly respected by all within the club.. We shall see how he goes, but Maclaren and Bryan Robson were both rookie gambles for Gibson. They both worked out alright moving the club forward..Big step up for Southgate!

No 1 goal for Scots is Archie Gemmel's gem againt The Netherlands '78 but can't remember the celebration at all.

Renton in Trainspotting was certainly celebrating while watching a re-run in bed!

Gordan Strachan's celebration after putting Scotland 1-0 up against West Germany @ Mexico '86.

He went to jump the advertising boards but just as he was going to he noticed a 20 ft drop to a moat, so he stood there like a twat with one leg up on the advertising boards
