Can Hull get a result against a distracted or weakened Man Utd? Can the Toon get something at Villa?

I can see a draw for Newcastle being enough. But I hope not:evil4:

Think Newcastle and Boro will both lose rendering other results academic.

Boro away to West Ham beat them 2-0 Newcastle get beat at Villa. Man U Ball boys and kit-man away to Hull, beat Hull 3-0

Boro stay up and whistle 'The Great Escape' all the way home.

Here's hoping:uhoh:

The Bookies are only offering 14/1 for Boro to stay up.That is tight as fuck in anyone's language..

I mean,we're already all but down,no? 100's at least!

Still,we are Boro.

i hate to say it but newcastle will get a draw at villa and scab into staying up somehow, the jammy bastards. well after all they are a MASSIVE club. my brother in law from stanley will be at sunderland hoping for the best. strange how bar hull the others are all north east clubs invovled. why?

i hope sunderland and boro stay up for my brother in law and boaty

Hull will lose.Man U reserves with a point to prove/not afraid of picking up injuries have a better chance of beating Hull than a full strength Man U careful not to get injured before Wednesday.Obviously. But Newcastle will lose anyway at Villa and drop through the trap door. Middlesborough will beat West Ham and stay up.

So to summarise - Hull and Newcastle to join West Brom going down.

Oh hang on. Middlesborough would have to win 5-0 or something to overcome Hull on goal difference in that scenario. Unless Hull lose 3-0 or something which would mean Boro only needing to win 2-0? Oh i forgot about Sunderland. They... ah feck it i'm going back to bed my head hurts

Banners held by Villa fans today:

'Who's your next Messiah? Ant or Dec?'

Personally, I'm hoping for Boro to stay up, considering that I'm a quarter Boro myself! :)

That truly was the worst , pathetic effort given by a club needing a result to stay up i have ever seen. Newcastle looked as though they thought thy were merely involved in a pre season friendly. Then again why should the players care?

It wasn't yesterday's performance, it was the 36 games prior blah blah...

Glad Ull stayed up, if only because the league needs characters like Brownie. If the barcodes had got away with it, nothing will have changed there and it clearly needs to.

I feel a bit sorry for Boro, and I wish Sunderland had gone down. They will always be Keane-tainted as far as I'm concerned. Black Cats? Fucking cunts more like.

I'm looking forward to a spot of shopping during the break and some non-league action with the Luton Boys next term.

No offence, John, but anyone who expected anything else was a worthless little bitch who doesn't actually watch football but trolls out the fucking nonsense that the commentators dribble out in order to whip up some sort of pretend interest in the forgone conclusion that the league became well before yesterday.

Good call John. I actually thought Newcastle might have got a crap draw. but they deserved to go. In fact 4 teams should go next week. so much dross. Best league in the world. Maybe but you got 4 quality teams, about 4 decent teams, 7 average and 5 shite.
