That was a great song . . . but then they found that crappy ballads sold better & . . .

I remember buying 4 singles first time out. One by UB40, i think another was the Genisis ABACAB EP, possibly the Specials & can't remember the 4th - could have been Blondie.

Soon after I remember spending weeks looking for that eurodisco track 'Born to be Alive' - even now i think it has a great hook; but hopefully my tastes have improved a bit since then!

EDIT: that can't be right - Born to be alive was '79 and ABACAB was '81 So that means that Tubeway Army's Are friends Electric was my first Single! Thats better!

Came from a crap era of music so its not my fault (the 90s im referring to) so I think it was... wait for it... no hang on, :idea: it was oasis, wonderwall, I thought it was some destinys child crap but I remember now someone gave me that. Whew.:thumb:

Easy one - when i was 15 a certain 1983 12" only release in a particularly original black sleeve with colour coding.
