1.There's a hundred better things i could be doing.

2.I always find myself trying to go in the opposite direction than a thousand other people.

3.I usually come to a conclusion that i don't actually need the thing i'm trying to buy and am wasting my valuable time and energy.

4.I find i'll buy a jacket for £80 then 2 weeks later i decide i hate it.

5.Waiting behind people.Either at the checkout or they are in the way of the place i want to get to.

6.Shopping is for girls

Stick ya material world up yer arse.I'd rather be in the pub.

Is this a confession on a dance floor Johnny!!?? I'm a proud obsessive shopper myself but I don't think I really need all those things I buy. Shopping cures depression and all, so do hairdressers, bless them!

Shopping can cure depression sometimes .I'll give it that.Retail therapy. But it's not something i make a habit of very often.

Hear hear.

I hate shopping because it depresses me to see vegeterians going through everything to look at the ingrediants.

My reasons for hating shopping

1.) I often buy stuff I don't need or, in the case of Christmas shopping, stuff that no one will actually like getting.

2.) Traffic disproves the whole notion of "evolution" (some folks haven't evolved enough to master the complicated "turning signal" cocept, btw)

3.) Coming from the perspective of working in the customer-service field, I can understand how annoying it is to deal with stupid questions all day. Nevermind that I sometimes have to ask them anyway.

4.) Christmas music. In November. :headoff:

5.) Making change, and ending up with a handful of quarters and pennies when the cashier runs out of dollar bills :nono:

6.) The commercialism at the root of American capitalism that gives me the notion that I absolutely must shop. If I don't, al Qaeda wins :p

I hate shopping, because it's so expensive.

The only type of shopping I really hate is clothes shopping, because: (a) none of the trendy stuff suits me; (b) if I go with my mum and/or my sis, they always try to force me to try on things that I don't like or won't suit me; (c) everything's too expensive most of the time; (d) when I do see something I like, they don't have my size; (e) trying stuff on's a pain; and (f) the queues are just stupid.

That's why I shop from catalogues these days!

I like PSB and I like shopping! By the way, I also love Pet Shop Boys' song, "Shopping" too! "I heard it in the House of Commons, everything's for sale..." (Actually, the song itself isn't really about actual "shopping", though...)

i hate supermakets. they make me sick. i hate people who pay with their credit card (yes we still have cash here, and nobody thinks you robbed a bank if you use it), and it takes forever to be approved. I hate shpping for clothes even more. i just want to get in the shop and out as quickly as possible.

That drives me crazy as well. There was something in the news recently about a restaurant in Chicago posting a sign requesting that people keep their kids under control and people got upset over it. I love kids, I'm a teacher but people need to control their children!!

As a girl, i really should enjoy shopping but i hate it!!

If i need something i have to go alone, and i can scan a shop from 40 yards and decide whether or not it's worth me going in.

I always get people banging into me, and end up wanting to turf them over the balcony at the Trafford Centre.

Oh and i hate the Trafford Centre but am always too lazy to park up in the City Centre.

And it's Christmas coming up and i've not done any shopping and i'm beginning to get stressed about it.

Might use T'internet this year. Gotta be easier!!

You need to think "mad max" and see your trolley as your weapon.

Personally it's retards standing in the middle of the aisle conversting with their trollies parked in such a way as to block the whole thing. Lose, ungagged children are another one. i actually did lose the plot one day. there was this chick, a chavette, speaking to a fellow lowlife while one of her offspring basically yelled and kicked all around even knocking stuff off shelves. the ma ignored this totally. I shoved my trolley past and said to no one in particular "shouldn't be allowed out unless they're trained, and if their parents can't be bother training them they should at least have them destroyed"

i also fucking traumatized another kid one day, it was acting up all over the place and again, mum thought this was OK. Why is it that just cos THEY ruined their lives they think I want to fucking share the horror. Anyway, it was swinging about on something and swung right into me, it was only luck that stopped the stupid little bastard swinging into my trolley. as it slid down my leg it looked up at me, and I fixed it with the best face ful of hatred I could come up with at such short notice. LOL the poor thing sort of metled, it's features all sort of disolved into a mass of tears and it sprinted for it's life. Job done, I went about my business.
