Funny you should say that cos I was remarking to Leanne recently that Wonka was a VERY Dr character...the same genius, weirdness, empathy and understanding of real people (ie, children), and a deeper, dark side you probably don't want to know about.

told you..,.they have burton reading about 10 times as much stuff as is on the album all on tape.....the movie will use it I'm sure. Most of it is actually straight from the book too, David essex doing the full mad bastard bit about his brave new world and all...top notch.
