I've got Fischerspooner and, probably like everyone else who ever bought it, bought it hoping that every other track would sound like 'Emerge'. They don't.
In fairness, the inclusion of 'Emerge' does stop it being completely shite though.

I think he gave Q some well deserved stick onstage when I saw him towards the end of the YATQ tour as well. The two star rating for YATQ was unforgivable as it is an album with some of his best material.
Q used to be a good mag in the mid to late nineties but since about 2001 they've selected their little clique of bands who in their eyes can do no wrong (U2, Radiohead, Coldplay) and given them the choice coverage. All Bono has to do is say he likes Shreddies for breakfast and there's a four page spread on it. I notice from recent issues they've added a Heat magazine-esque "gossip" section, a new but not entirely unexpected low for them.
All the best journos who were with Q during it's pre-2000 golden period have moved over to mags like Mojo and Uncut which is all I read from the music press these days. The latest issue of Uncut with Mozzer on the cover is really very good and there are no stupid lists in it trying to tell you what's the best or worst. Q is a wankstain of a publication in my humble opinion.
Uncut and Mojo are excellent though.

I don't agree on those:
- The Cranberries – To The Faithful Departed
- Ace Of Bass – The Sign
- Milli Vanilli – All Or Nothing
That Cranberries album is pretty good, I enjoyed the Ace of Base album a lot, and as for Milli Vanelli, the only "problem" is the fake models, but the music was pretty good.

The problem I have with any of these "50 worst" or "100 worst ever" is that they fail to account for one fact and one fact alone...

I understand that Q is a British music magazine, but I'm surprised that Limp Bizkit, Alanis Morissette, and Ace of Base made the list. How do the Brits understand good music when the musical tastes in America are so different?

Absolutely! Limp Bizkit is the sort of band invented precisely for 'worst ever' lists 
definitely not the sort of band I'd associate "good music" with and I don't think you need to be exclusively British to appreciate that

A year ago, they released an album with no publicity (decided by Fred Durst) and it sold about four copies. Two of which were bought by Fred's mum.

All the various manufactured-via-TV-audition "bands" get alot of airplay where I live but they're still all rubbish. Are you saying your surprised some bands ended up on the worst list because they get airplay?
