Right wing fascist fuckers with no brain cells between em.
I mean, the World Cup doesnae start for at least 3 weeks.
(and God knows when fer us!)
The sight of em scared me a little when I was over there....I mentioned this elsewhere when the subject was raised.....but barring a world cup win, or Jenson Button winning Silverstone ( I tried to work out the relative unlikliness of these two scenarios and got loads of E's (not the good kind, the sort on a calculator screen) too many infinities I assume), shoving lil national flags on cars tends to be a portent of trouble. See a lot of it round these parts, that should be all you need to hear really.
Someone should tell them they are acting like Americans, that should snap em back to reality nicely :D
I've seen Greece and Portugal flags over here at the last Euro.. but I don't think I'll see a Canadian flag in the streets on cars in my lifetime.
Pathetic !
The pound shops supply such items to the mentally challenged of this land. The same people who buy second hand American cars, think Budweiser is the king of beers,, and whose wives wear white high heels.
Mind you they do make 20 year old Cosworth Sierra's look nice
:)
some people did that here a while ago, some even put up flag posts outside their houses. this all happened round about the time the illegal migrants issue became newsworthy. this is just so unaustralian. we normally don't care much about things like flying the flag.

But then, I think that of anyone who wears football tops of any hue. Can't people afford real clothes?! Or do they like to start a static thundercloud every time they undress?!
Maybe I'm Old Skool but if you're gonna wear football colours anywhere you're liable to (1) have your head kicked in by rival fans if you've beaten them in a game or (2) have yourself laughed out of town if you've lost to them in a game. It's a lose-lose situation, surely?! Where are the positives?!
C'mon you grumpy old fckers - its just a bit of fun for a few weeks! the soonest we reclaim our national flag from the racists and BNP scum the better, and this is how its to be done. People just want to show that they are looking forward to supporting their national side in the greatest sporting tournament on earth. England wont win it, but people are going to enjoy themselves anyway, drinking themselves stupid and having a sing-song. Only in England do we get so hung up about waving the flag and showing that we passionately believe in something. The Welsh & Scots do it all the time and good luck to them. But no, the English arent allowed to do it for some bizarre reason. I generally hang a St.George flag in my house window, but the wife only allows me to do it on actual game nights, since she is Welsh.

yeah well. them sheep shaggers (welsh) rock eaters (scots) and all round daft cunts (irish)
all hate seeing us wave our glorious flag coz it reminds them that weve kicked all their arses and could do it again at the drop of a hat should we so wish. fuck em i say,be proud and say it loud IIINNNGGEERRRLLLAAANNNDD and if yer missus whines about you hanging a flag out of the window, tell her your going to make her sleep on a bed with an england flag duvet, that l shut her up.

100% d'accord. I moved in a place with a lot of children this year. I am astonished by the fact that every single kid has football tops. Almost a different one every day of the week. I thought that it was an English stereotype, but it crossed the Channel...

Can I ask why Ingerland instead of England ? I wonder why supporters say so.
at least you don't have those goddamn 'god bless america' bumper stickers or 'support our troops' magnetic ribbons.
it makes me want to vomit, all this bandwagon patriotism. better for a sporting match than for a misguided war.

Well, I do have to say that I prefer the magnets on peoples cars then being spit upon, like the Vietnam vets.

Discuss.....
Probably harmless fun - but why not just have a flag saying "I'm a chav" instead. Same outcome.
Talking of weird World Cup traditions - I wonder how many Scotch people have gone out and bought Sweden, Trinidad and Paraguay shirts just so they can sit in the pub and mutter under their breath during the games? :D

Shug, maybe, since you seem to forget most of the time, the flags are intended to remind people like you where you are. You're not in Scotland (did you ever actually live there?) you are in England. And if you don't feel that it's right for proper English people to support their national team in any way they see fit, you know where you can do - fcuk off back to Scotland for the duration of the tournament.
I've been in Scotland for nine years now and you don't catch me making catty remarks about the Scotland team when they have a bit of success. Neither do I complain about the waving of their flag, insistance on inventing their own national anthem, staggering around pissed in rediculous Jimmy wigs or the pathetic 'sour grapes' mentality towards England and the English.
I've only been to Manchester once since the flags started appearing and found them very useful for indicating the badly-driven cars so that they might be given a wide berth on the road.
And Al Jarvis doesn't have a car, so his comments about motorists should be ignored.

You better just have got off shift, it's unnnatural to be that funny this early.
Sour grapes when England have success you say? I wasn't BORN the last time that happened ;) Oh, and I laughed my bollox off when yous kicked piss out of germany a coupla years ago, best footie match I ever seen. oh and in the unlikely event that that wee dilbert Button clocks one at silverstone, I'll get off my arse for the Liz tune for the first time since 1999, moist eyed and lumpy throated, for YOU LOT. Sour grapes at success my arse. Pissing ourselves half too death at you being shite definitely (you know NI beat you don;t you, he says for the 47th time, that's a "country" smaller than fuckin Barnesly, where young chavs have FAR more career opportunities (UVF, IRA, INLA, UFF, UDA, R-IRA, C-IRA, and so on ad infinitum) tice I might add...seniors and u14's). I hink the rest of us in the "home countries" love it most when you big yourselves up at something before flogging it up really badly.....I can't think of a recent footballing example, not being an avid watcher, but the sentence "jenson's on pole, it must be time for that win, he has the car, the tyres and the track position" 2 mins before watching him reverse to the back of the field, comes to mind. You score double laughter points when it's a sport you invented (or nicked from some bunch of Johnny foreigners and claimed to invent), motor racing, at which you're actually not bad apart from Jenson, is French...Footie, Cricket and Rugger...all "English" all a national disgrace, apart from that freakish ashes win that I still can't cope with.
So I'll always cheer for you when you win, and mean it from the heart, but don't expect to see me anywhere but ROFLMAO in the aisles when you're pissing it up the wall.
A decendant of evil Scots invaders of Ireland's green shores.
PS, we SHOULD lob bricks at them but only because lobbing bricks at moving motor vehicles is big, clever and cool.
how about bumper stickers featuring the australian flag and reading "if you don't love it leave." thankfully those are getting rare now.

Your kids are Norvern. Football shirts are posh up there! ![]()
Kids can get away with it. Adults should be shot. Especially when they put their favourite player's name on the back. How very twee.

?????? Canadians have a fcuk'n flag fettish!! Have you ever met a Canadian abroad who doesn't have their national flag sewn into their poncey rucksack? I used two have two Candaian birds working for me and they BOTH had a red maple leaf TATOOED on the small of their backs. And no sense of humour. And no chat of any worth.
And before I get accused of anything my mum was born there. In a town called, and this is true, SHITENGO ![]()

What a cunt.
Aye, I've lived here all ma life, which means I see exactly what goes on. The Engerlish certainly DO make sly digs at the Scotland team all the fucking time. We know we're gash, we don't need you telling us. The best thing about living here is laughing at you wankers when you's believe yer gonna win every tournament yer in. Like it's a devine rite that Engerland should win. Germany and France come in for the biggest grief from ye's. The war's over, let it go.....and it was proven yesterday ye's robbed yer way to the '66 WC, what have ye's done since? Jock this Sweaty that. We know the craic. Gary Lineker even made a dig at Scotland's first trophy in 21 years - Japan 0 Scotland 0 "I bet that was exciting" CUNT. No mention of the Bulgaria demolition.
And all these England fans that say they wouldn't mind Scotland doing well are just talking gash. It's never happened that we've got further than ye's so it's easy to make a non plus remark like that. Flags on cars are for wankers, same with people draping 20 ft flags from the side of their houses. This year I will mostly be supporting whoever's playing England. At least I own up to being a Bigot ![]()
I disagree with football tops though, I have loads. Pikey? Me? Gettae! To conclude.....Jarvo and Col are a pair of tits.
