in today's paper there was an article that said that just about everybody is related to several kings. think about it, they all had heaps of offspring.

FWIW....my granpa knew the founder of THe Pittsburgh Steelers NFL team. Played for the guy as a member of a semi-pro team long before the Steelers were founded in 1933.

and about myself? legally blind in my left eye

and about all I can do with my left hand is flip you off...

That reminds me. .. my father was friends with the a German fellow that worked in Hollywood and invented the camera boom (placing a camera on a crane).

The interesting part was that he had this beautiful house in Malibu that he built himself. . .a multimillion dollar house. He had stated that he would rather see the house burn to the ground than to let someone else move into it and slowly destroy it. The day after he died was when the huge Malibu fire hit (the most costly fire in US, as in dollar amount for property damage).

Always kind-of freaked me out on the coincidence.
