Top tune and I got the 12" when it was re-issued in 1990. The 1988 mix would spice up and 'breaks' based DJ set for sure. Cheers!:thumb:

Great track! I loved Probably A Robbery at the time although that has really dated now, sadly!

I remember the video to 'Robbery' it was very Get Carter/Sweeney-esque complete with blaggers, scrubbers and scenes with the Soundwave in prison set to a dub-bass pulse LOL!:abovelol: Cheers!:thumb:

Some shite there! Although you're showing your age with Second Phase! Kym Mazelle did better too - Was That All It Was.

Hi Steve mostly rediscovered these tracks through youtube etc. Agreed Kym Mazelle's Was That All It Was was better but Usless was the first track of her's I heard way back in November '88 when it was played on Jeff Young's show the token Friday night Dance music show on Radio 1 in the pre Pete Tong days - defo showing my age there. Cheers!:thumb:

The Big Beat - with Well Def Jeff

Bloody hell, I forgot it was called that and you've brought back the memories of the jingles Hank. Ah innocent happy teenage days. Cheers!:thumb:

I also used to try and listen to Souled Out - With Stu Allen on Key 103. I say try, it wasn't that easy listening 35 miles away from the signal, on a mono Hitachi portable radio, which probably had a wire coat hanger substituting for the antenna.

The threads had me digging deep into my old stuff, been enjoying these all weekend,

Ultraviolet - I Wish That Laura Palmer & Twin Peaks Killer - In The Mix Marina Van Rooy - Let You Go Corina - Temptation Cooking With Delia - Cant Stop (cutting)

Dance music was never better than 1989-1991.

Gawd Stu Allen, another blast from the past. His Key 103 show was pretty cool but he f***ed up when he did tunes like 'Stayin' Alive' with his band (sic) Clock. Cheers!:thumb:

Blimey... you need to use youtube more often, Jeff!

Here ya go... not as electronic as the original version but you get the idea...

Oh damn... Mary Lou Lord cleaned up the language in the video.. it used to have lyrics of "too f*cked up to deal with it all" rather than "too freaked out to deal with it all."

I hate censorship. :\ohwell:
