Is a grammarphobe someone who is phobic of grammar? (because they, themselves, don't have the linguistic skills of the basic 4 year old?!)

14k., then.

Not because she's phobic of grammar, but because she's invented (and stuck with) a grammar all of her own. Makes wonderful, and consistent, reading always. Shaun Ryder for the 21st Century!

Me neither, Comrade. I just naturally assume that whatever 14K says is linguistically wonderful.

Might be nonsense, but it sure looks perdy in black and white!

Is Spike no longer considered in the running? Despite his very infrequent posts these days his grammarphobia is beyond question.

Hmnm. Black and White is a favourite. Good fun. Certainly hope I've got the Grammatical skills, if ever needed, to use at the Drop of hat. Any Politc' lly sensible and the typing skills too. Just tend to check them in at the Door and see how it goes. Think the life of a Geisha and caligraphy might be more fun than keeping pace w/ Hieroglyphs and the Greek or the Egyptian scripts.

Again.Wow! Each post is like something out of the fairytale when the princess offers her hand in marriage if her riddles can be solved, but death for failure to those that can't...I would have died more times than Doctor Who and Wyle Coyote put together, trying to suss what in the bejesus you are saying,if that was the case...But sometimes,WOW!!Bowled over!! :thumb:

Ther'es more to you than mere grammar, petal. You are a sage:nod: For fuckin sure!

Spike, though he probably had no fear of grammar, or use for it one supposes. I had a tutor once who claimed that language was always evolving ... Spike I feel was trying to ensure it had come full circle.Still, much funnier than his cousin at the end of the day.

I'm very well thanks, best wishes to you and yours DigiMike, been on the waggon since 16th December last year and feeling pretty good for it I must say, meant a complete change of lifestyle I can tell ya, bit of a fookin tea snob now, prone to talkin bollox about warming the pot first etc, still not that different to talking bollox at gigs I suppose, do you concur.. Also given up the bifta's, so it's been quite tense chez mac in recent times... Anyways thought I'd dip me toe in the nuthouse, it's lookin nice 'round here .... as NObabe had the decorators in ?
