Pah, every gig in one galaxy!

Misleading name.

I mean, what about the Utopia Planitia Working men's club or the Ganymede civic centre?

PishPoorPerf all round from DM, as I have come to expect.

Loved their last gigs in 2006...

To bad there's not a date in Holland planned, WTF:confused2:

They're playing the fcuking San Siro?!

I didn't know there was even that many accountants in Italy!

Have to say, whilst their O2 Arena gig in Londinium is a huge venue, it seems to be just about the smallest gig on that list! :eek3:

Now i know why they don't play Holland, none of our stadiums are big enough for them:rofl:

Bet you feel doirty now.

Don't worry, we've all had to pay for it at some point. Whether it be a fancy meal, or a bunch of flaaaars, there's always money involved somewhere down the line. :eek3:

I'm going to speak to my tutor on Thursday and find out whena realistic finishing date is.

I want to go to Porto and then spend a few days is Lisbon before heading off to Barca for Summercase or Benicassim.

Of course, its quite concievable that Depeche could do Summercase, as no Spanish dates have been announced. that would mean that everyone wouldnt have to put up with somebody spending all weekend bitching about the lineup.

I seriously doubt they'll do Summercase as there is an 8 day gap inbetween the Swedish festival and the Portugal one..thats where the Barcelona and Madrid gigs will be and its a virtual certainty that they'll play the Barcelona's Olympic Stadium

Suits me.

Right, anyone been to Porto?

Ha! That's just reminded me of a comic strip in VIZ. Reverend Ramsden's Ringpiece Cathedral...

"Could you tell me how to get to the Cathedral?"

"Yes certainly, drive down the road for half a mile, turn left at the junction, then go straight up my arse"

oh and..

"The Church is not happy about your attitude, therefore we demand your meeting with the Synod at the Archbishop's Bell-end"

Yes, in January for work. It was fantastic and I swore I'd be back this summer but didn't make it. Met some really cool folk who I'm still in touch with.

There's an amaing club/arts venue there called Plan B. Live music in one room, a few rooms with DJs playing everything from minimal techno to Ragga, lots of arty-but-not-pretentious party types and the best nudge nudge wink wink I've scored since the 90's. Was the night of my life!

How did you get there? I currently looking for direct flights and not having much joy.

Nobody with a modestly functioning brain would be mislead by that title. C'mon.

Flew TAP. Glasgow to Gatwick, 2 hour layover. Gatwick to Porto. Ryanair fly direct from Liverpool and Stanstead but the connections were no use. And we had A LOT of excess baggage which Ryanair rape you for.

£86 one way Gatwick to Porto.

Not entirely unreasonable.

Just need the people at Summercase to confirm that they're festival is the weekend after now.

if Digital Mike keeps locking this thread just because he hates DM, he is overstepping his moderator duties and will soon be finding his Cure vs. tits threads locked as well.

If people would just stop buying tickets, then Depeche Mode would just stay at home. You really want to see a middle aged shirtless Gahan dancing while snapping his fingers in the air? Maybe he will wear a wifebeater instead of going topless. Gore will play some guitar every once in a while to show that it actually has some live elements. Just say no to this illness.

 <--- Standing up to DM haters.

If they come to upstate NY (not since '86 at Canandagua Performing Arts Centre), I will be there. So sad if only NYC, but who knows.
