DM and NO are similar bands in many ways. One is still touring, the other one is in shambles. I like both bands. I prefer New Order. I wish it was New Order that was still touring, making albums, and getting along with each other. Guess we gotta get in the mood for the Mode.

I seriously doubt they'll do Summercase as there is an 8 day gap inbetween the Swedish festival and the Portugal one..thats where the Barcelona and Madrid gigs will be and its a virtual certainty that they'll play the Barcelona's Olympic Stadium

It looks like they've bamboozled us both on the Spanish gigs..apparently new Spanish promoters felt they could get a better deal if they used cities other than Barcelona & Madrid..here are the new dates announced

Their last album 'Playing the Angel' was quite good if I recall, certainly better than WFTSC which came out at around the same time. Gahan still looks smart.

Better to end it with a bang than slowly slide into continued mediocrity. BOTH bands are past it and BOTH should have broken up at the end of the Eighties.

The release also marks a reunion between the band and producer Ben Hillier (Blur, Doves, Elbow), who worked with the band to help give their new album its timeless sound. Over stomping beats, screeching synthesizers, and Dave’s overlord chant, “Wrong” already feels like a Depeche Mode classic. Other standout tracks include Martin’s velvet-lined Scott Walker croon on the sensual lounge-music ballad “Jezebel,” to the sci-fi gospel-blues hymn “In Chains” and “Hole To Feed,” which marries modern electronics to a floor-shaking, bone-rattling Bo Diddley beat.

I'd rather see a shirtless Gahan, then keyboardless cure. Robert looks ridiculous, along with porl, and 3 hour sets of just guitar are frankly boring. Depeche has, and always will be my favorite act.

That is a band I would of love to see them in concert actually They did a special on Depechemode in Toronto dedicated to them which was nice they are still a popular band if not mistaken they came down here a few times sometimes I find the tickets too expensive though and ticket master wow Miss Hooky's Angel
