I can assure you I've never had a pop at anybody on here (or otherwise) for their birthplace/current home.

In fact, I think in the 4 years I've frequented this site I've never actually had a pop at anybody.

Until now.

Well done - you're my first.

No more Missy Nice Jem

Oh apart from calling me spudmuncher, yer cloth capped whippet keeping pigeon breeder (Parrot? My arse, he's a spray painted pigeon).

Actually, I was reading your comment previous to this and thinking ...."FUCK! I've NEVER seen Jemma be nasty to ANYONE on here (whithering put downs and verbal bitch-slaps yes....but nasty? never). This dude really IS a ballsack isn't he.....and to think I was willing to have a rational synth discussion with him elsewhere, I feel dirty.

Can't fathom his pro-islam stance.....surely Muslims are not permitted to view pictures of living creatures (hence any animals used in Mosque design have little gaps twixed head and body). Loads of humans and animals pictured all over this site. The sky fairy WILL be displeased with him.

Do I look like a French Restaurant?

I may be considerably more norvern than you Jembo, but never, ever call me a geordie again, while I remember.. I always get that from you West Midlanders.

I was thinking but.......how alien ARE "we". I mean people from one end of Engerland are rather different from those from the other end, then you have Scots Welsh and some of the Irish.......now how come we can all "get" each other.....but to the rest of (what I suppose must be) Humanity.....we're somehow utterly opacque without years of close study (otherwise....why threads like "explain taking the piss", or this rancid donkey's cock's assertions as to the snide nature of us all.

Dya think it's cos we all had to watch The Two Ronnies and Morcombe and Wise when we was kids? Over exposure to Bob Monkhouse? Brucey?

Check a map, oh Austral one.

(well you didn't spec Engerland).

North of you, in England, there's what? 2 service stations and Carlisle (one very odd place). OK, yes on the other side there's more but nobody can get there cos it means going through Geordies. (edit: AND maybe Boaty's lot)

When we're suggesting which office people might attend, the only people who are for going to Druham are Geordies, Mackem's and Boro'ers....ANYONE else is like "LIVERPOOL!!!!!!!!!", mayhaps everyone outside that little corner has it marked with Dragons on their map....must be bad if they'd rather go to scouseland.

I wholeheartedly agree, I've seriously considered doing King's Cross-Edinburgh JUST for the view of Durham Cathaedral (I cannot spell that word) as you pull into the station. The fact remains that I frequesntly have the following conversation with people who are rather closer to Durham than Liverpool...... "I really need this sorting FAST, can I come in and get it done?" "Durham's your closest, and they can see you tomorrow first thing" "what about Liverpool" "well, they've nothing until next tuesday". "that'll do"

I have not a clue why. Always put it down to poor road links or something, but I'm starting to wonder.

Durham is on the A1,so we can safely eliminate poor road links Steve.I'm as baffled as you.

Maybe it's book of condolences signing addicts, you deal with in your department.

You wouldn't be far wrong, because we're beaten into saying things about how the offices can't do this or that.....then the buggers go and do it. Most of them are great for sorting people out, except London, who are REALLY by-the-book, but they have to be, they are snowed under all year round. We actually run the risk of getting busted and a severe talking to, for actually telling people that but, we're basically meant to say they're all jobsworths. I refuse to.

I like that Cambo. If you refuse to,I like that. First rule of life.Be true to yourself.

I bet you are a firm's man,and just saying that though.:evil4:

No,I've been in some positions at work, where I've had to stand my ground on safety issues under pressure from the top brass to do otherwise, because it costs them money. It takes guts, but you look back on it with pride, when you just know you are in the right. But then,it's a different line of work to yours..People can,and have been killed where I work.Fuck profits, safety first.

Kent, Sussex and Hants are the most civilised parts of Britain without doubt. Bear in mind that living standards nearly always decline with distance from the capital regardless of which country.

Could I just add my name to the list of people who think you're a twat.

Have you been to any Medway towns? Have you been to Tower Hamlets? Have you been to Harlesden?

Have you been to Yorkshire or Lancashire for that matter?
