The incident where she was overheard talking about how she'd like to bed one of the coppers working on the daughter's abduction case was a nice touch too

Apparently this woman had had 7 children with 5 men. Looks really are a very good indicator of a persons genetic quality. Apparently, she was the subject of a psychological report in 2003 - which said she wasn't able to put the needs of her children above her own - NO REALLY? Despite the fact two of her children were (at some time) on the Child Protection Register - the Social Services reduced their involvement.
Many of the 'extended' family were well known to various authorities, and a neighbour had contacted Social Services on various occasions, voicing her concerns about the children, so why did they withdraw any further contact? Simply doesn't add up.
I am not necessarily 'blaming' them; ultimately everyone is responsible for their own actions, but it does make you wonder, and very angry.
I hope she gets what she so justly deserves.

I totally agree. Just like Maxine Carr was given a job at a library on Isle of Wight. Everyone who worked there knew who was but could nothing about it. Imagine that, a library, where kids go. Totally sick. This government is so soft. Somethings in America are spot on. Death row and chain gangs being 2 of them.

I respect your opinion but I just feel there are some cases where the death penalty is warranted. The chain gangs in America seem to be having the desired affect. Prisoners have discipline and the no nonsense regime makes some realise they dont want to be a criminal for life and that they have a choice.
