Yes, I think "two young girls" and "28 million viewings" are the operative phrases here.

I love Pixies so much!!!!!
One of my favourite bands. Saw them at Move festival which is posted up there and also at the Apollo in 2005. They're awesome.

Love 'em.
They played a 'secret' gig in London last week, didn't they? Was it an Arts centre or summat? Did about 15 songs though.
Same night as Bleugh did an 'intimate' London gig too.
Course, that night, anyone who's anyone was at the 'intimate' ACR gig instead. ![]()

would have thought that was debaser, what with them sounding most similar - & lets no go into sugars a good idea!
pixies a top top band - spesh live.
cheers again al for the reunion tickets in 2004 ![]()

I'm a JCL with the Pixies, but now completely love them. Have them on in my car all the time.
I love Monkeys Gone To Heaven (probably the obvious choice). I had it on some wierd comp from about 1990 with a Kettle on the front. There was NO Vanishing Point, The Wedding Present, Morrisey and Happy Mondays (among many others).
I think MGTH is sublime. I love the vocal harmonies. But I have to say I dont care for any of their other material.

You are new to this, aren't you? I've corrected the above sentence for you.
People have been shot for less than that here.
Always nice to help a fellow New Order fan, etc.

(No offence to those that I actually like)
The Pixies were on Sky Arts at 12.30 on Saturday just gone, an acoustic set for an hour and a half. No doubt it will be repeated soon.
I've tried liking them, but I just don't get it.

The square root of minus one expressed in standard form, to 47 decimal places, in hex.
Strong label though - them two and The The.
Who else?
EDIT: I always planned to sign to 4AD.
Cocteau Twins, Ultra Vivid Scene, Belly, Kristin Hersh, Red House Painters, Mojave 3 (for a bit), Wolfgang Press, This Mortal Coil etc etc.
Dave "I like Rugger" Hibster will be able to reel off every band who ever signed for them, I'd imagine.

dead can dance, pale saints, bauhaus, lush, tanya, stereolab, breeders.
and these days they have camera obscura and bon iver (i think) for the twee fuckers/unlikeable teachers among us.

sorry, THE breeders.
Stereolab were never on 4AD. You thus lose all Patented 80s Indie Saddo Credibility. Pale Saints were good, though. And as for Lush....Miki and Emma....PHWOOOAARRR!!!!!!
