Looks like this years festival could see the worst weather in the events history. Oceans of rain and violent storms are set to strike early saturday evening. Good luck to those on here that are set for the trip. Don't forget your pac-a-mac.

24 degrees. Glorious sunshine.

Just don't bring the weather down with you!

It was very warm in Cheshire yesterday, then it rained, then it stopped and now it's sunny again.

This is the first year since 2005 that I've been sorry not to be going to Glasters. Will probably go next year.

Hope this helps.

4 day forecast? ROFLMAO

Unlesss it came off the shipping forecast or something else not designed for the great unwashed, it'll be as accurate, as as scientific, as a Sun horroscope.

Sunny as fuck here BTW.....shame that heat and light now have roughly the same effect on me as they do on vampires and lugworms.

Only gayers call it "Glasto".

My favourite memory of the Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts was the gang of crusties camped near us in 1993. They had wheeled in a full 3-piece suite and had a generator hooked up to a fridge and a huge sound system which played nowt but dub the whole weekend. They even had lamps (with shades!) at night. One of their mates got really pissed and passed out mid-weekend, so they did the sensible thing and stripped him naked and left him to cook in the sun at the side of the pathway. Every time I walked past his cock was a little bit more sunburned. Like a wee lobster it was. Felt quite sorry for him, actually.

Ah, memories.........

And that, ladies and gentleman, is word-for-word what the Gypo said to the judge when defending himself against the serious sexual assault charges he faced when found with a dead hippies sunburnt cock in his mouth at Glassington Wassington.

It's all true, m'lud.

oooh friendly fires were smashing (and tres fanciable), but weren't white lies dull? are they always that boring?

there's something vaguely reminiscent of musical theatre about lickle boots' vocals that i hadn't noticed before.

and vv brown is bloody brilliant.

Beeb have got fuckin Kasabian as the theme tune this year:nonono:

Nope, still not impressed with Little Boots. VV Brown is one of the more interesting things to come out of Northampton.

Lady Ga Ga  Bless er

Lily's right one popped out. Little Boots was good. White Lies singers voice is like Marmite. And I hate marmite. Ting Tings were cool.

So much for storms and torrential rain. Why do weather announcers get paid?

she's been the highlight so far, for me. she's got some great clobber - just a 50s bra and girdle at one point. and a red frock that almost made me drool.

neil young and fleet foxes are TREMENDOUS, obviously, but you kind of want them round a camp fire rather than on a big stage.

(i should point out lady g's performance was top-notch. the little girl reporter on bbc3 interviewed little boots straight after her set and the ONLY COMMENT she made about it was to gush about her dress. i was appalled. "you looked fab!" how did she sound?!)

Fleet Foxes have been the best so far (that i've seen). Quite looking forward to Springsteen tonight. The Radio 6 website seems to be the best place to see performances.

That would be in homage to the patented Jo "I've made a career out of being utterly vacuous" Whiley approach, then. Having said that, I was also bored by Whiley's empty titillation. Lady Gaga had no knickers on, apparently, and Lily Allen was sans brazier.

Did I see Gaga's gash?? Did I get to leer over Lily's love puddings??

The answer on both counts is "no", m'lud. Pathetic.

Yep Lady Ga Ga is THE highlight of this year. 2 nights to go but can't see who is gonna beat her. No other artist got or will get the response from the crowd she got.

Yes, and 'Lily Allen' is just Keith Allen in drag with an all over body wax and 'Little Boots' is Mark Almond after a bout of peroxide apocalypse. I am old and decrepit enough to not care either way.

Just in case you missed it.
