Birthday numbers. My birthday is tomorrow. Born 3456. Wouldn't work over in the US unless I was born on 4th March.

Lady 21 is a song from Luxuria's 1988 album Unanswerable Lust. It consisted of Howard Devoto of Buzzcocks/Magazine fame, and Noko who is now in Apollo 440. Anyway, Howard has one of the sexiest voices I've ever heard and whenever I listened to that song I always wanted to be Lady 21. Plus my birthday is the 21st of March.

Lady 21

I was thinking of phoning The richest woman in the town The radio was playing nonsense And yes, the cigarette machine had broken down Watch yourself now, the lino's greasy It could surely kill Ever since they fixed the light in here This place has gone downhill

Now I'm running up the aisle On an endless train And when I try to sleep I dream the very same I am nothing, becoming nothing And nothing's to be done Then I'm falling in love With Lady 21

Press me to her tumbling beauty O gorgeous siren wraith! I may never know what hit But I'll leap with all of my faith I'll have her way with me And be delivered as it occurs She'll be smiling so happily I'll break my body on hers...

Put out the fetch candle If you're coming through And be my familiar spirit If you want to Deliver me unto my desire Deliver me unto my desire I'm up on the heights I'm still up on the heights...

Oh Howard. No one can write erotic lyrics like you.... :love2:

I know this is an old topic, but I've changed my nickname.

And it's all down to a group of railway workers who decided to form a football team called Newton Heath LYR in

1878

Can we ever thank them enough?

My new nickname comes from a pic in Select Magazine, September 93 issue (the one with the massive Neworder feature). Said pic features the original Little Louie statue with the caption "Monsieur Round& Round". I found it so corny I loved it instantly!

You keep confusing me with all your name changes.

Sorry for that, Wen. I'll keep this one for a while, I promise. I get confused too when other NOOL'ers change their names!

Although i use my real name, my nickname is "Buffer". I got this in high school in metal class, we used metal polishers called buffers, they are basically small spinning wheels with long black spikey hairs on them. One of my friends compared my hairdo (Sid Vicious spike job) to these machines and the name has stuck ever since, but only my friends from high school use my nickname, everybody else (like my girlfriend, whose nickname funnily enough is "Buffy") use my real name.

Well, it's probably obvious, but....

I was talking to my cousin once, and mentioned something about New Order, but had a slip of the tongue and called them Blue Order. Then I couldn't remember their real name. It happened a couple of times, me absent-mindedly calling them Blue Order, so when I logged on for the first time here, it seemed like the obvious choice for me.

Twist is the shortened form of Pyrtwist (pronounced peer twist). When I finally made the leap onto the WWW I had to come up with an email name. I mixed two of my favorite things--my Great Pyrenese dog and getting fucked up on drugs (twist). Steal a pinch from Pyrnet (site on the Pyrenese dog) and I came up with Pyrtwist. Most folks called me Twist anyway so I use that here. Online games I am TwistJG26.

My nickname conveys my inner self. I'm a severe guy when it comes to judging people or people's acts. I just try to keep up with my moral principles and my view of life. That's all. All the best, I.S.

My first nickname here was "Fitter Flabbier" which was true cos even though I'd lost a lot of weight recently, I became fitter by actually putting a bit more on...if you get my drift. I now weigh about 13 stone which I spose is average for someone who is six foot one in height.

This was then changed to "By Eck! My Neck!" cos it was something I'd imagine someone from Rochdale would probably say if they twisted it slightly whilst having sex with their other half..... ;)
