They played Gotta Get Away on the radio yesterday and I was reminded how much I love that song and just about everything else on the Smash album. Anybody else agree?
Ancient Offspring thread resurrected by Jonathan

The Offspring are well known throughout the known universe Pat, fear not. Using a tedious point of reference, if the Springers where stood at the south pole, then musically, the order would be at the north. Only you know why you like the Spring Loaders Patsy, and perhaps, only you can work out why.
You must step into the cave Pat, you must face yourself. You know what's in there... I'll be right here, sat on a small stone with a stick in my hand near R2.
When you come out, hopefully, the old Pat will have had his head knocked clean off by yourself and the more powerful Pat will be out the other end with a better and slightly different coloured sword-type machine weapon.
Yes, Huntsy, I recognize that the Offspring and NO are somewhat different in their music. That was why I wondered if anyone else here shared my tastes. And I'm not ashamed.
Yes, Nicolas, absolutely those count. Self-Esteem is one of the numerous gems from Smash, which is just one goodie after another. Why Don't You Get a Job is later, after they'd had their big success with Smash, but it's good. I'm delighted to hear you like those.

I've matured a lot since then, Jonathan.

Rather surprising to see this thread from ancient times suddenly and unexpectedly resurrected.
Are you sorry enough to post that photo, Johnny?
"i'm a sucker, with no self-estem, fucking yeah"
Im gonna keep looking for forgotten secrets.
Are you saying you dont like them anymore? If it's any consolation i listen to the descendants every so often.
I think you may be younger then I THINK.

I think that was just before the news broke.
Not long after we were evacuating the building.

I still think Smash is an excellent record. However, their subsequent career is almost the definition of sell-out.

No problem, Jonathan. How did you happen to come across it?
Just looking through ancient pages and saw a familiar name?

I somehow pressed on the last on the page link. Then i kinda became curious where the usual cast of characters became involved.
Didnt the offspring have a song name"dracula castle" or was it the misfits. This is gonna bother me.

You might try resurrecting some of Huntsman's threads. That would be a great experience for everybody.
