I don't dance, M. And certainly not the tango.

But it's so easy, P. All you have to do is keep 'em separated ... your legs, I meant!

Be careful, M. It can be dangerous to reveal a familiarity with Offspring songs.

That's odd.

I had you pegged as a "Do the Hustle" sort of guy for some reason, P.

Perhaps at an earlier point in my life, DC.

I'd pay good money for footage of you doing the Hustle, Pats. Some serious notes.

In a thread here a few months ago I posed the question, what is your all-time favorite music item ever by anybody? My answer to that question was I'm Set Free by VU.

A most excellent choice there. I seem to recall that at one time you were asking other posters here if they'd bought the special edition of Loaded, myself included. Don't recall if you ever gave us your verdict on the product, if indeed you did buy it.

As for the Offspring, I don't mind 'em at all on the radio, they sound pretty good to me. Gone Away is probably my favourite.

I believe all copies have been destroyed, DC.

I did buy that version of Loaded, but it didn't find its way onto my regular play list.

I think Cool It Down and New Age are my favorites on that one (the original, that is).

Did you mean Gotta Get Away? If so, that is definitely my favorite as well.

I'm not quite sure if I'm following you, DC.

Are you talking about purported evidence of P misbehaving at bus stops?

No, but is there something we should know?

I was actually referring to a dance popular during the disco era called the "Bus Stop". Around the same time as the "Hustle".

Well, DC, I think you've demonstrated that any contentions concerning my dance floor prowess are ill-founded, if I don't even know about the "Bus Stop."

Well which moves did you favour on the floor, back in the time when you did participate?

You think they had names? The number of times I ever did anything like that is very small, DC.

Yes, I found myself preferring the original as well.

Gotta Get Away is also one of my faves as well, but Gone Away is from one of their later albums, Ixnay On The Hombre I think, just a cry-out to a person who's departed from this earthly sphere.

I did get that album, but my recollection is that it was so uneven that I didn't listen to it very much.

As I recall, one interesting thing on the Loaded special edition was an early version of Satellite of Love.

the best line i've ever heard about the Offspring was when somebody said about their first album that The Offspring were like a punk version of the band Boston... take that as you will but i found that very fitting and funny

They played Brixton Academy the other wkd, my Missus's Nephew went to see em.

He's a nutter, maybe that explains it!
