is there any film out there worse than showgirls?

Yep, Manos, The Hands Of Fate is truly, truly wretched, starting with the title. Don't really know a whole lot 'o Spanish, but doesn't that mean Hands, The Hands Of Fate. Poor, poor Torgo, so misunderstood by humans. It is certainly more watchable when being roasted by the MST3K crew.

Speaking of which, Santa Claus Conquers The Martians also gets a grand MST3K treatment as well, with one of my all-time fave holiday songs Let's Have A Patrick Swayze Christmas. Truly essential viewing for the warped.

Yeah, those were very good, but is there anything else besides that? it was because of those films, I wanted to go see cops and robbersons. :( i'm sorry. :( that movie was awful.

i'm trying to think of other GOOD Chevy Chase movies...i know there are some...i'll post when i think of one. :)

i'm trying to think of other GOOD Chevy Chase movies...i know there are some...i'll post when i think of one. :) oh! i thought of some! i LOVE National Lampoon's Vacation and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! classic! Spies Like Us was pretty good too, as i recall.

oh, i forgot about caligula, starring malcolm mac dowell and produced by penthouse's bob guccione. truly a pile of horse poo. a four hour pile of horse poo.

I'm probably going to get some serious stick for saying this but The Sixth Sense has to be one of the worst movies ever. It was way too long; it could've been over in an hour. Plus I already knew the ending before I saw it, which made things even worse. If you haven't seen it, count yourself lucky!

If you hadn't been told the ending, it would have kept you on the edge of your seat until the very end ! You are in no position to rate this at all .....

Speed 2

One of the best "sequel-that-has-absolutely-nothing-to-do-with-the-original" examples ever! And, as an added bonus, the movie's failure at the box-office prevented Jan de Bont from helming "Minority Report", thus making possible for Spielberg to give the world his best movie ever!

Only time I've ever walked out from a theater: "Eraserhead" by David Linch. I went there with some friends and only one endured it till the end.

No it wouldn't; like I said, it was too long and I don't think I could've watched the whole thing even if I hadn't known what the ending was. Also, in reply to AgentWood's post, I knew the ending because I didn't see the movie until about a year after it came out (I watched it on TV one night), by which time it had all come out in the press.

First one gets points deducted for the double team of Alley Sheedy and Steve "Police Academy" Guttenberg, but their presence was sorely missed in the lame-ass sequel

Apart from Blazing Saddles, anything with Mel Brooks in it. Batman and Robin Sliver In a few months I will probably add Terminator 3 to this list ("she'll be back" - noooooooooo)

Haven't seen Showgirls.

But, in my opinion (and I realise I'm in a SERIOUS minority here), I think Silence Of The Lambs is one of the greatest piles of shite ever. I could be kind & say I think it's over-rated, which I do, but my honest opinion is it's total crap.

Surprisingly (?), I've not watched any of the sequels. ;)
