"winner", well... seriously, you should check out Galaxina to see if you still feel that way. The best performance in the film was the very brief celebrity cameo... by the original Batmobile. I kid you not. Sample line : "Frank Future ? Oh yes, I remember him. He was delicious."

I'm surprised no one has mentioned "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" (co-written by Roger Ebert) or Grease 2: two "sequels" that actually made the first movie great by comparison :barf:

Recently I have wasted time in front of "Blues Brothers 2000", "The Velocity of Gary" and "Dude Where's My Car". Just how many bad Hollywood films can you make about high school jinx as the life changing Prom night approaches. This whole Prom thing has screwed up about 3 generations of Americans now.

True. I didn't even bother to go to both my high school proms because all the music that would be played would be rap. But, instead, I probably did stay home and watch terrible movies - that were probably better than showgirls though - but I don't really remember.

I thought the same as you, but saw Red Dragon a couple of weekends back, on a recommendation from a friend who'd also thought the same, and was pleasantly surprised. The [different from Manhunter] opening scene is a cracker. On a par with the original, though not quite as stylised, but perhaps tries too hard to explain the psyche of the Red Dragon himself.

I'm amazed no one's mentioned Godfather III. What utter garbage when compared to the first two films. Sacrilege. One film that should never have been made.

Jeepers Creepers is by far and away the worst film I've seen in recent years though. Started well but fell away miserably and I didn't stick around for the end.

Jeepers Creepers has the feel and dread of the start of Texas Chainsaw and up to the bit where he falls down the chute it is blinding. Then it turns to rat shit.

Red Dragon is I thought pretty good throughout with Fiennes putting in a great performance, outclassing somewhat Hopkins somewhat as a twitchy nutbag who can't cope with emotions

But JARVO? Whats up with Godfather 3? It was pretty awesome, classic stuff where the helicopter massacres the big meet and the classic assassin stuff at the end... C'mon....... Al rules, as ever.... hooooha!

They played the 3 albums live back to back (old to new), following the tracklisting - then an encore of a few Cure classics. They've also just signed a new 3 album deal with their new label. To various other NOOL'ers, please insert derogatory Cure comments here..................................... :)
